Book Review Policy

Black Cotton Reviewers is a community of Black educators and librarians who provide reviews across genres of middle grade and young adult literature published in the United States about the Black experience. With parents, educators and librarians in mind, our reviews offer a balanced perspective of each book. We work independent of any publishers, journals, or other agencies. We may occasionally provide interviews, but we do not participate in blog tours, cover reveals, or other promotional events. We cannot promise a deadline for our reviews, but we do try to read and post in a timely fashion.
